Payment
The payment methods accepted in our online store are as follows:

* If the selected payment method is bank transfer, we kindly ask that you always send the proof of payment along with your order number to store@meiaduzia.com, in order to speed up the processing of your order.
When a payment failure occurs, we suggest trying the following methods:
Method 1 – Data verification
Check the details you used for the payment. If you identify any errors, correct them and try again.
If you do not find any errors, proceed to the next method.
Method 2 – Alternative payment method
If you have another payment method accepted in the online store available besides the one you initially tried, and it is convenient for you to use it, you can try to complete the order using the alternative payment method.
If the error persists, proceed to the next method.
Method 3 – Alternative browser
If you have another browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge) besides the one you are currently using, try using it to place the order.
To do so, simply open the alternative browser, visit our online store, log into your account, add the desired products to your shopping cart, and complete the order as usual.
If the error persists, proceed to the next method,
Method 4 – Alternative device
If you have another device (e.g., computer, tablet, mobile phone) besides the one you are currently using, try using it to place the order.
To do so, simply open the browser on the alternative device, visit our online store, log into your account, add the desired products to your shopping cart, and complete the order as usual.
If the error persists, proceed to the next method.
Method 5 – Clear cookies and cache
Remove all items from your shopping cart and log out of our website.
Then, clear your browser cookies. Instructions on how to do this vary depending on the browser used; you can find instructions for the most common ones on the following pages:

Once the cookies have been cleared, return to our online store, log into your account, and repeat the entire ordering process – everything should work correctly.
If none of the suggested methods resolve the issue, please contact our team and a member of our team will assist you throughout the process.
To use your gift card, you should visit our online store, log into your account, and add the products you wish to purchase to your shopping cart. Once you are satisfied with your selection, proceed to checkout, where you will have the opportunity to enter your gift card code.
If your gift card has a value equal to or greater than your order total, you can proceed by clicking Complete Order.
If, on the other hand, the value of your gift card is lower than the total value of your order, you will be asked to choose a payment method, from which the difference between the order value and the gift card value will be charged.
Your invoice will be sent to the same email address used to place the order.
Delivery
After payment is confirmed, your order will be shipped on average within 1 business day. You will receive a shipping confirmation email, and in that email you will find a link (Tracking) that you can use to follow the status of the shipment.
Shipping costs depend on the value of your order and the delivery address.
Portugal (Excluding Islands) & Spain (Excluding Islands)
- Orders over 49€: delivery is free.
- Orders up to 48,99€: shipping fees apply.
Rest of the World
Shipping costs are added to your order total in the cart and are calculated at the end of your order, varying according to the weight and delivery address of your order.
When shipping is not free, the cost depends on your order and the selected delivery address. To find out the exact amount that will be charged, please run a simulation on the checkout page of our online store.
You can choose whether you prefer your order to be delivered to an address provided by you or if you prefer to collect your order at one of the meia.dúzia® stores in Portugal.
To choose this option, you should select the “Pickup” option during checkout and choose the store where you would like to collect your products. If you choose the in-store pickup option, delivery costs are free.
For in-store pickup, you must wait for a confirmation email stating that your order is ready - this process usually takes one business day after the order confirmation. When going to the store to collect your order, you must always bring the order confirmation email with you. The stores where pickup is available are:

Yes, you can shop online and pick up your order at a meia.dúzia® store. To choose this option, you should select the “Pickup” option during checkout and choose the store where you would like to collect your products. If you choose the in-store pickup option, delivery costs are free.

Delivery time varies depending on the delivery address you choose. The estimated delivery times, valid after order confirmation, are:
- Portugal (mainland): 1 to 2 business days
- Portugal – Madeira and Azores: 7 to 15 business days
- Spain: 2 to 5 business days
- Europe: 2 to 5 business days
- Rest of the World: 7 to 20 business days
We always do everything within our reach to meet the deadlines described above; however, in exceptional situations beyond meia.dúzia®’s control, such as strikes, pandemics, wars, among others, delays in receiving your order may occur.
Yes, we can deliver your order worldwide, regardless of the billing address you use.
Our online store is set up to automatically calculate shipping costs for almost anywhere in the world. If the country you wish to ship to is not yet available, you can send an email to store@meiaduzia.com with your order, billing details, and delivery details, and our team will find the best possible shipping quote for you.
My Order
The order confirmation is sent to the email address used in your account on our online store, after meia.dúzia® confirms all the details of your order and verifies receipt of payment. The time required for this confirmation varies depending on the payment method used.
Regardless of the payment method, if the amount corresponding to your order has been charged to your account and, after the processing period, you still have not received any email from our team, please check your spam folder.
The processing time for each payment method is:
- Credit or debit card (VISA, MasterCard, or American Express), MbWay, Multibanco, or PayPal (including American Express): he amount is charged immediately, and you can expect a confirmation email within a maximum of 1 business day after the charge.
- Bank transfer: The amount is charged as soon as you make the payment. Once completed, you should send an email to store@meiaduzia.comwith the proof of payment and your order number. Depending on your location and the bank used, the time required for the payment to be processed and for you to receive a confirmation email ranges from 2 to 4 business days after sending the proof of payment to our team.
If the amount related to your order has not been charged to your account within the expected timeframe, you should check whether the details entered for the payment are correct. If they are correct, it means that an error occurred during the payment processing, and you may place the order again. If you find any errors in the payment details entered, you should follow the cancellation procedures with the relevant entity and repeat the payment for your order with the correct details.
If the amount has been charged to your account and, after the processing time for the selected method, you still have not received the order confirmation email, please contact our team at geral@meiaduzia.pt – we are here to help.
You can make changes up until the order leaves our facilities. The procedure for making changes depends on the status of your order:
- If you have not yet made the payment, you can simply cancel the order and place a new one with the desired changes, as the order will only be confirmed after successful payment.;
- If you have already made the payment (and, if applicable, sent the proof of payment), but have not yet received the order confirmation email: you can send an email to store@meiaduzia.com with your order number and the change you would like to make. If the requested change results in a higher price than what you paid, the difference must be received by meia.dúzia® and the order must be confirmed again before shipping. If, on the other hand, the updated order value is lower than the amount already paid, the difference will be refunded using the same payment method used for the purchase;
- If you have already received the order confirmation email: we will try to make the changes you request. Please contact us as urgently as possible via email at store@meiaduzia.com or by phone at +351 934 480 984 (national mobile call), providing your order number and the change you would like to make. It is important that you contact us as soon as possible so that we can proceed with the requested changes. This is because we strive to process orders as quickly as possible, and if the order is no longer in our facilities, changes are no longer possible. If our team confirms that the change is still possible and the requested change results in a higher price than what you paid, the difference must be received by meia.dúzia® and the order must be confirmed again before shipping. If, on the other hand, the updated order value is lower than the amount already paid, the difference will be refunded using the same payment method used for the purchase;
- If the order has already been shipped: it is not possible to make any changes.
After the order has been shipped, if it does not meet your expectations, you may return it, but you will be responsible for the shipping costs. To do so, you should wait to receive the order and, once received, contact the meia.dúzia® team via email at store@meiaduzia.com expressing your intention to return it. You will receive a confirmation and instructions on how to proceed within 1 business day after sending your email.
Returns of intact products are accepted when the intention to return is expressed within 15 days after the customer receives the order.
NOTE: Returns will only be accepted after being confirmed by the meia.dúzia® team via email.

If you noticed that a product is missing, has been exchanged, or is damaged, please contact our team as soon as possible at store@meiaduzia.com. To help us provide assistance as quickly as possible, please include your order number in the email and, if applicable, photos of what went wrong with your order.
We are committed to resolving any issue as quickly as possible.
Exchanges & Returns
Yes, you can return products ordered from our online store, provided they are intact and the return is made within 15 days.
To proceed with the return, you should wait to receive your order and, once received, contact the meia.dúzia® team via email at store@meiaduzia.com expressing your intention to return it. You will receive a confirmation and instructions on how to proceed within 2 business days after sending your email.
Returns of intact products are accepted when the intention to return is expressed within 15 days after the customer receives the order..

It is only possible to change your order while it is still in our facilities. To do so, please contact us as urgently as possible via email at store@meiaduzia.com or by phone at +351 934 480 984 (national landline call), providing your order number and the change you would like to make.
Once your order has been shipped, we do not accept exchanges. However, you may return the order and place a new one with the products you prefer.
My Account
Registered users who choose to be contacted by meia.dúzia® (you can do so when creating your account or on our website by subscribing to the newsletter) have privileged access to special campaigns, exclusive recipes, and are the first to know when we create a new flavor.
Additionally, you can save your order history, billing details, and delivery addresses, making the process easier when placing new orders.
To create an account, simply go to the registration page and fill in all your details. Once you confirm your account, you can immediately start enjoying all the benefits.
You can always recover your password, as long as you know the email address used to register.
To do so, simply visit our online store and click on “My Account” in the top navigation bar. A login form will open, and below it you will find a button labeled “Forgot your password?”. Click that button, enter your email address, and click submit. Within a few minutes, you will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password. Simply follow them to regain access to your account.

You can unsubscribe from the meia.dúzia® newsletter at any time. To do so, simply send an email with the subject “REMOVE” to store@meiaduzia.com. If the email address you are using to send the request is different from the one receiving our communications, please include in the body of the email which address should be removed.
We strive to ensure that all our communications are relevant and interesting for our users. If possible, we would also appreciate it if you could let us know the reason for unsubscribing — help us improve!
To change your personal details, you can visit the meia.dúzia online store and log into your account, if you are not already signed in.
To access your account, click on “My Account” in the top navigation bar and enter your login details. You will be redirected to your account management page, where you can find your personal details and order history.
To edit your details, click on “View Addresses” and then on “Edit”. Enter all the new information you wish to use in your account and, once you are satisfied with the changes, click “Update Address”.
NOTE: You can save multiple addresses in a single account. If you wish to do so, visit the “My Account” page, click on “Addresses”, and then “Add a new address”.
If you wish to delete your account, please send an email to store@meiaduzia.com with the email address or phone number associated with the account you want to delete.
It is not possible to delete accounts that have orders in progress or ongoing GDPR disputes.
Promotions
There are several reasons why your discount may not be applied. The most common is that your order is not eligible for the code you are trying to use or that it has already expired.
Always check the conditions of the campaign you want to use and make sure that:
- You are logged into your account;
- You copied the code correctly;
- You are using the discount within the valid campaign period;
- Your order (products, billing address, delivery address) is eligible for the promotion;
- Your account is eligible for the promotion;
- You are not trying to use multiple promotions on the same order—only one promotion can be used per order, unless the specific campaign conditions state that it can be combined with other ongoing promotions;

It is very easy to benefit from all meia.dúzia® promotions. Simply add the desired products to your cart and proceed to checkout. On the checkout page, fill in the “Discount code” field with your coupon code and click apply. If your order meets the campaign conditions, the discount will be automatically applied and your order summary will immediately reflect the promotion.

Our fruit jams are made artisanally, using fruits from various regions of Portugal, with over 55% fruit, without adding additives or preservatives and with a reduced amount of sugar, while maintaining and preserving traditional methods.
Our fruit jams also have a reduced sugar content, and the packaging is 100% recyclable.

All our products are produced following traditional production methods and are made in an artisanal way. We produce in small batches of up to 40 kg, and everything is done by hand, except for the filling process.
Our fruit jams are prepared using fruits from various regions of Portugal, with more than 55% fruit content, without added additives or preservatives, and with a reduced amount of sugar, preserving traditional methods.
All our artisanal jams and chocolate spreads can be used for spreading on whole grain bread and toast, pairing with fresh and aged cheeses, roasted meats, salads, desserts, pancakes, crepes, toppings, and fillings. Chutneys and spreads can be used as accents in meat dishes, fish dishes, smoked foods, cheese boards, and salads.
All products include usage suggestions on the packaging in several languages, and there is a Recipes and Blog section with e-books featuring recipes for appetizers, salads, desserts, cakes, and meat dishes on our website at www.meiaduzia.com.

The aluminum tube packaging offers advantages in preserving the product compared to the traditional glass jar. It reduces exposure to light and the entry of air after opening, thereby minimizing the natural degradation process (oxidation) and maintaining the product’s natural properties and nutrients for much longer. The small opening of the tube limits air entry and contamination, reducing the formation of mold, which is very common in glass packaging after opening, thus decreasing product waste.
Tube packaging is also more practical to carry and use, as there is no need for spoons or knives to spread the product. Due to its size, it can be taken to work, on a picnic, to school, or anywhere else—simply apply it directly onto a toast without needing utensils. It is also a more hygienic packaging option, as there is no cross-contamination from utensils.
All our products should be stored at room temperature and, when unopened, have a shelf life of 2 years from the production date. Once opened, they should be kept in the refrigerator and consumed within 30 days.
Honey and chocolate spreads should be stored at room temperature, even after opening.
Our products are labeled with “Best before…”: day/month/year, which means they may still be consumed up to 3 months after the expiration date, provided that the product remains unopened.
If the product is still sealed and the expiration date has passed, and in the case of tube packaging, the external appearance of the metal packaging should be considered. If the packaging is dented or shows signs of rust or swelling, it should not be consumed.
If the product you received does not meet our high quality standards, or if you suspect any defect or anomaly, you should proceed as follows:
- Keep the product intact and take a photo of it, including the production batch number, and send us an email with the details of the issue and the product in question to our customer support email: store@meiaduzia.com or geral@meiaduzia.pt or contact us by phone at +351 252 111 845 (national landline call).
- After our analysis, we will decide on collection and replacement with a new product in accordance with our after-sales service quality policies.
You can customize all our products with the message you want through a personalized card.
In the packs or hampers, you can change the flavors or create a personalized pack or hamper exactly the way you want.
To do so, at the end of your purchase, you can add a note with your flavor changes and message personalized, as well as which pack box you want. Our team will validate everything with you before shipping.
If you want to make a Pack 3, Pack 6 or Pack 9, personalized hamper, in our online store you can create one of your own measure, and choose your favorite flavors from fruit jams, chutneys, chocolates, olive oils, liqueurs and even teas, and the box you want.

meia.dúzia® products are made using seasonal fruit, which enhances their flavor. As a result, stock shortages may occur and are not always immediately replenished. In these cases, the product will become available again as soon as the raw materials needed to produce it are available.
There are also themed packs and limited editions that are only available for a limited time. In these cases, the product will not be restocked.

Yes! We have available, in our online store, a tool that allows you to create your personalized PACK or Hamper tailored to your needs, and where you can choose your favorite flavors from fruit jams, chutneys, chocolates, olive oils, liqueurs and even teas and at the end your box.
If you know you have any allergies, you should always carefully read the product label before consuming it. Please note that all allergens are identified in bold on the respective labels. Examples: “Allergens: Contains sulfites and soy. May contain traces of milk and gluten.”
If you suspect any allergic reaction that may be caused by consuming one of our products, you should proceed as follows:

Sustainability
Our packaging is made from more than 99.7% aluminum, 100% recycled, with a coating certified for the food industry. Aluminum is infinitely recyclable without losing quality, minimizing extraction from nature. After use, the packaging should be placed in metal recycling, that is, in the yellow recycling bin.
Every year we run campaigns to support charitable organizations, namely the Fundação do Gil which focuses on personal development and the full social integration of children and young people through the organization, promotion, participation, or sponsorship of cultural, educational, artistic, scientific, social, and assistance initiatives.
